Mallow Camera Club were entertained by a camera group from the north east of England on Monday evening. Five Members from the independent camera group based in the Newcastle area visited mallow club while on a week’s photographic expedition to the south west of Ireland. Initial contact between the two clubs was made via email after they saw the Mallow Camera Club website.
The five members; David Miller, John Race, Peter Dixon, Paul Hattan & David Foley, showed off there work to a packed audience. Club chairman, John Hogan, thanked each of them for sharing there work with Mallow Camera Club.
Each member of the group had his own unique style, and all images were well received by the audience. The images displayed were of a very high standard with very creative use of subject matter such as glass, ice, water & architecture.
David Miller, on behalf of the group, thanked everyone for there hospitably and donated one of his images to the Mallow Camera Club collection.
