Club member Morgan O’Neill was successful in achieving his Associateship from the Royal Photographic Society over the weekend.  Morgan submitted a print panel of his excellent old house interior shots for consideration by the judges.  Morgan can now add the initials ARPS to his AIPF which he gained in Thurles last April.

Congratulations Morgan from your fellow club members.

See some of Morgan’s superb interior shots under the Gallery section of the website.

Seán Murphy twice Mallow Camera Club Photographer of the Year has been shortlisted for a national photographic competition, hosted by the Late Late Show.  Seán, who has just returned from an overseas skiing trip, entered his image within hours of the deadline.  He was delighted  that his image was one of five shortlisted for the dream prize of a trip to Calcutta, India.   The winner will travel to India with a professional photographer and get the opportunity to work beside him.  The winner will also be given guidance and tips on street photography.

Best of Luck Seán from all at Mallow Camera Club, we hope you get your chance to travel to India, NAMASTE.

Tune in to the Late Late Show on Friday night, 06 March to see Seán, the other finalists, and their photos.
