Mallow Camera Club was set up in 1986 by a group of enthusiastic photographers who wanted to share their interest in photography with other similar minded people in the area. Over the years the club has grown from strength to strength attracting member from not only the North Cork area but also from Cork City and counties Limerick and Kerry.
The club is affiliated to both the Southern Association of Camera Clubs (SACC), and the Irish Photographic Federation (IPF).
The club has been successful in regional and national competitions. Club members have had their work exhibited and won individual medals in international photography salons.
The club meets every Monday night, except Bank Holidays, in the Mercy Centre, Fair Street, Mallow (see location map below). Training for novice members begins at 8.00 p.m. followed by the regular club meeting at 8.30 p.m. Club activities include: guest speakers, practical demonstrations, club outings, visits to and from other clubs, portrait shoots, and various other activities. The club season runs from September to May.
New members are always welcome.

The club meets every Monday Night at 8.30 at the South Side community centre Mallow. If you know the Church of the Ressurection in Mallow its near there(just look out for alot of cars parked along side the building). Come by and ask for Morgan O’Neil, the chairman,and he will give you all the info you need.Note next Monday is a bank Holiday so no meeting. Meeting again on the 5th of November. Hope this helps.
