Mallow Camera Club

Cork Camera Group are currently hosting a photography exhibition at the Cork School of Music and it will run until November 18th. Call in if you are around for the Jazz week-end.

The SACC round of the Print and Projected images competition will take place in the Clonmel Park Hotel on Sunday the 5th of December. Entries will be taken from 10am to 11.30am. All prints must be in 16x20inch mounts only.  The judges for the competition are Paul Stanley, Helen Hanafin and Mark Sedgewick.

The SACC will be looking for volunteers from Mallow to run the competition.

The SACC AGM will also take place . The SACC will be looking for volunteers for the position of Chairperson and Treasurer.

There will be no meeting next Monday the 11th of October. However the following Friday the 15th of October Gabriel O’Shaughnessy, Bob Underhill and Colin Thompson will be giving a presentation of their work. This is an exceptional group of photographers and club members should not miss this opportunity if at all possible. The venue is undecided, but will be posted shortly. A great night should be had. The venue for Ciaran White and Lorraine Gilligan’s presentation has been confirmed for St. Patrick’s National School, next to Market Square , Mallow.  The presentation will take place  on Friday the 24th  of September. The photography includes portaits, nude and studio work.  All are welcome.
