Mallow Camera Club is affiliated to both the Southern Association of Camera Clubs (SACC) and the Irish Photographic Federation (IPF).

IPF DISTINCTIONS
There are three levels of IPF Distincitons – Licentiateship, Associateship, & Fellowship which is the highest level. Photographers must have a Licentiateship before progressing to Associateship and then to Fellowship. Distinctions ared judged twice a year, usually in in April at the IPF Photography Finals, and in November at the National Shield Competition (L & A only). Members of Mallow Camera Club are encouraged to apply for Distincitons, and many members have distinctions at Licentiateship and Associateship level. One member of the club, John Hooton, has a Fellowship (FIPF) from the Irish Photographic Federation.
